My father is strongest and best....

#Bombay Talkies:
This film was said to be the celebration of 100 years of Indian Cinema by the four well known young directors of indian cinema having their distinct style of direction, namely Karan Johar, Dibakar Banarjee, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap. They each made short films of about 30 min each. No story is connected to each other. Let us discuss each one by one.
#Karan Johar: No story has... specific name or title but if i would like to give one to this then it would be "BomGay Talkies". Such crap piece of art!!! I couldn't understood by what logic kJo celebrated 100 years of indian cinema by promoting gay sex????
Kjo's film dosen't even deserve the criticism.
# Dibakar Banarjee: Ahahaha!!!!! delight to watch. Great piece of work. Awesome story, epitome of great direction, acting of Nawazuddin at its peak, brilliant use of music. It makes people understand and respect the art of film making. This story alone is worth for each paisa you spent.
#Zoya Akhtar: Overall not bad but again story doesn't seems much related to the theme i.e. celebration of 100 years of indian cinema. If you look at it as isolated piece then you can't say it is bad. The film is based on general topic about chasing dreams.
#Anurag Kashyap: Nice creation by Anurag Kashyap. This part is actually for the people of industry. It tells what stars are for their fans. And why stars should be very sensitive to the society and issues related to it. Again brilliantly supported by actors. Liked the song "Bachhan Bachhan.." especialy the beats. Cameo by BigB shows why he is "Bachhan".

Finally I would say this movie is different experiment and worth watching except KJo's part.

"OMG!!!!!!
This fantastic flick is must watch
Experience what happens when genuine humor meets genuine philosophy.
Very sensitive subject presented with ease.
The screenplay keeps you involved by asking various question and you get stuck to screen in anticipation of getting answers. In the end you won’t get disappointed with those logical answers.
The idea of suing God is very unusual and interesting. The arguments in the court of law regarding God and practices followed in the name of God are interesting. The arguments regarding existence of God are presented in very light manner without using very heavy philosophical jargons. Full marks to the writer for making all those arguments appealing as it is not so simple to convey them in such a humorous way.
Paresh Rawal is outstanding while playing the character of Kanaji Bhai. Mithun once again proved his talent and looked great in the role of god man. The character of Sidheshwar is very impactful. The dance number of Sonakhi and Prabhudeva adds some spice however, it doesn’t spoil the plot of movie. So enjoy this simple but impact full food for thought movie!!!!!!!
Talaash: Not so exciting experience!!!
Got disappointed with the abrupt end. The movie seems quite logical and interesting till first half, it goes little bit slowly in second half but the end takes everything away from the movie.
AK looked confused throughout the movie and that was exactly the requirement of his roll, he tried to give justice to the cop he played with his look and attitude, but this is definitely not amongst his best performances. Makeup less Rani acted beautifully. Nowazuddin Siddiqui gave power packed performance. The direction of the movie was ok.
So if you are watching this movie being an AK fan then no one can stop you otherwise wait for TV release.
Yesterday watched Gangs of Wasseypur (Please don’t watch with your family, because this movie contains enough to embarrass you) - The movie throws light on criminal history of town Wasseypur, situated near Dhanbad and now part of it. The story starts in pre-independence era and explains how criminals shifted from one bad business to other. It all starts with greed, firstly the greed for food ...and then greed for money, revenge and power. The movie shows how situation forced people to become criminals and then how crime became family business. Finally the moral of the story is, the cause gets affected by the effect and the effect still prevails to cause further effect.
Anurag Kashyap once again showed his brilliance and made the movie watching experience rich. Manoj Bajpai proved once again that why he is called so. Tingmanshu Dhulia complimented very well to Manoj Bajpai and depicted a different kind of negative character. New entrant Richa Chadda did fabulous performance with some nicely delivered bold dialogues while Reemma let her back talk more. The performances of -Jaideep Ahlawat, playing father of Manoj Bajpai and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, playing son of Manoj Bajpai- are difficult to forget.
So go and enjoy “Gangs of Wasseypur”.
I tasted Barfi, did you?
I was searching for the words to express this word less drama. Written???? Rather imagined and directed???? rather realised by Anurag Basu. The story starts in beautiful Darjiling decorated by hills and toy train and captured even beautifully in the camera. Anurag Basu redefined the art of story telling with his excellent direction. Superbly supported by all actors. Ranbeer did his role of life time and expecting many such performances from him. The Ranbeer version of The great Chaplin is delightful to watch. Priyanka initially looked a bit clumsy but later on carried her character very strongly. Ilina D'cruz made her presence felt with her gorgeous looks and sensible acting. Veteran actor Saurabh Shukla represented foolish police man intelegenly. Though it is very classic movie but one may get disturbed when the canvas is used as a tool to display ads of Rupa and Avon cycles. Also to convince Ilina why she should go with Ranbeer, their could have been better example rather than her mother's example. Pritam represented himself not only with nice and silent music but also by splitting in to three parts throughout the movie.
So just don't watch but feel the sweetness of this Barfi!!!!!!
Chakravyuh: Yet another good movie in year 2012!!!!!!

Prakash Jha has done a fantastic job by touching such a sensitive and important issue. This is one subject about which everyone knows but hardly anyone knows. This movie will give you great insight of naxal movement and the life of naxalites, now reffered as Maowadis, in India. Prakash Jha’s deep knowledge about the subject has reflected into ...his presentation as well. Prakash Jha has raised the standards of direction in Bollywood with this cinema. While watching and after the end of the movie so many questions pop up in the mind and you hardly get any answers either from movie or by your own and maybe that’s the reason why you get convinced with title of the movie.
Abhay deol…..class performance!!! Arjun Rampal tried his best but he failed while delivering the dialogues at the intense moments but overall good show. Veteran actor Om Puri is as always flawless.Easha Gupta…. I don’t know why Mr. Jha wanted her in the movie???? Her character is absolutely needless and one feels it even more while looking at her performance. New entrant Anjali Patil left her impressions!!!!!!!! She made the character played by her live with Her intensity, energy, anger and expressions. And what to say about MANOJ BAJPAI…Sir you are absolutely great!!!!! It seems that Bollywood got its new action hero in the form of Manoj Bajpai. Other actors like Murali sharma, Mukesh Tiwari supported nicely with their performances.
Background music is good. Sameera Reddy’s item number, a crowd puller, is purely a business proportion but could have been avoided as such great creations hardly need crowd pullers nowadays.
Overall another must watch!!!
Life of Pi : What an amazing movie!!!! Hats off to the writer!!! Aang Lee, the director, felt like a magician of silver screen. Few frames in the movie are unable to get our of my mind the one when movie starts, the way he shown sky and its reflection in the night, the animals are great to watch throughout the movie.Bengal Tiger looks awesome. I haven't scene such a nice filming of animals even on... Discovery or Nat geo.
In one of the scenes boat looks like a capsule and the way scene unfolds is hard to explain...you need to experience it. Also in one of the scenes the big fish travelling below the boat is great to watch. There are many such incidences. Actually the whole movie was very difficult to shoot. So many scenes are delightful as they deal with endless blue ocean, a little boat, animals....tremendous job by director and technical team..
The main strength of the movie is its fantastic story. The narration is class and what a way to pass on the massage to audience!!! The movie captures various aspects of human life such as love, hate, violence, peace, union, separation, truth, lie and more importantly hunger and made us believe in almighty. While coming out of cinema hall you will get satisfaction of watching something philosophical, intellectual yet entertaining stuff. At a point we get frustrated with the problems that protagonist is facing and that's one of the learning from movie is not to lose hope and keep fighting.
On actors front everyone is fabulous. New entrant Suraj Sharma made the movie alive with his brilliant performance so Mr. Reached Parker.
Finally life is like Pi, keep it simple, and keep it for 3 digits 3.14 and if you think too much you are unlikely to find any meaningful end.
Personally it was very motivating experience for me as the movie came at right time when I.needed :)
I recommend all friends to watch this movie if you are planning to watch any...
